After 3 years of grooves, recording, rerecording and a couple of gigs, the Well Meaning Shells have finally released an album. So far we’re pulling an ultra special limited edition run of burnt CDs in paper sleeves with artwork glued to it and the entire album is available free from our servers (links below). If you want a hard copy, contact us on myspace, or just ask us at a Meat gig and we’ll get you one!
Our team enters the “studio” with two members (Jamie and I) who participate in various events such as guitar, vocals, bass, drums, clarinet, trumpet and electronics, and sometimes win. While we formally compete in the Novelty Pop division, we do like to indulge in all manner of crude sonic farce, so definitely listen if you want to hear “very insightful songs about the environment, politics, and economics”.
